This set of 4 delightful set of fused glass coasters are handmade in my little glass studio and each set is unique.
 
Measuring approximately 10cm by 10cm, each one is approximately 6mm thick so they are extremely hard wearing and will happily take the occasional knock. 
 
On the back there are 4 little clear rubber feet so they will be very stable for your drinks and won't mark wooden or other surfaces.
 
They come carefully packaged in a strong gift box making them the perfect present for yourself or someone else.  The box is also a great way to store the coasters when yo're not using them. 
 
How are they made?
Each coaster is made from two layers of hand cut glass.  A white base layer and a clear top layer.
These are then fused in "Kelvin" the Kiln to about 800 degrees Celsius to form a single piece of glass.  When this has cooled down, the individual decorations are then arranged. Once this is done they are returned to Kelvin who fires them again to fully fuse the decoration into the glass.
After they have cooled again they are washed, checked and then go to have their feet put on before being well packaged into their  bright little gift box ready for their new home.
